CWDM yellobrik Product Names Are Changing – The Products Aren’t
Beginning August 1, we are simplifying the naming of our yellobrik CWDM fiber converters.
This is a naming change only. The features and performance of the products remain the same. The only differences are the product names when ordering and labels on the units.
Going forward, all CWDM-equipped fiber converters will follow a consistent naming convention by adding the “CW” suffix to the standard product model. For example: the OTT 1442 will become OTT 1412 CW. This will simplify the ordering process. The label on the device will simply read OTT 1412. The type of Fiber SFP used in yellobrik modules is always displayed on the yelloGUI and Lynx Centraal user interfaces.
This change simplifies the product catalog and makes it easier to find the right converter with the appropriate fiber SFP option.

New Fiber Receiver Options
As part of this update, we’re also introducing dedicated model numbers for yellobrik fiber receivers supplied with High Sensitivity (HS) SFPs. These new model names make it easier to identify and order the correct receiver configuration.
