10GbE to Fiber Transceiver
The OET 1910 is a compact Ethernet to Fiber converter, designed to extend the reach of 1GbE and 10GbE signals over long distances.
The module is a straight forward pass-through and does not provide bitrate conversion from 1GbE to 10GbE.
When paired with another OET 1910 (using two fiber links) it becomes a simple and cost-effective Ethernet extender solution for distances up to 20km* providing a stable, high-speed optical connection between locations.
As with all yellobrik modules, it is compatible with the RFR 1200 rack frame, which provides power redundancy.
*Distance is an approximation. Actual distances can be longer or shorter depending on the type of fiber cable and accumulated optical losses in the fiber link.
