3G-SDI to Fiber Transmitter
The OTX 1812 is a compact 3G-SDI to fiber transmitter designed to overcome the limitations involved with the distribution of uncompressed broadcast quality video signals over long distances. When paired with a fiber to 3G-SDI receiver (e.g. yellobrik ORX 1802) it becomes a cost effective optical transmission / receiver system for 3G-SDI signals up to 1080p60.
The OTX 1812 provides a looping 3G-SDI input and support for LC, ST or SC single-mode fiber connections as well as LC version suitable for multi-mode fiber. It will auto-detect and re-clock any 270Mbit/s, 3G/1.5G/SD-SDI source prior to optical transmission. The module is fully compatible with 3G Level A and Level B formats. It can be pre-assembled with a Single-mode 1310 nm or Multi-mode SFP. CWDM SFPs support significantly longer optical distances and must be ordered separately with the required operating wavelength.
As with all yellobrik modules, it is compatible with the RFR 1200 rack frame, which provides power redundancy.
