We look forward to working with them and providing our customer-base with exceptional quality solutions at attractive price-points.”
CVE has been successfully managing broadcast projects for over 30 years. Serving as partners rather than suppliers to customers, CVS aims to put customer success first. CVE was born as an independent company in 2008, as an evolution of CVE SpA, founded in 1982 by Carmelo Catalano. The CVE name is associated with professionalism and reliability in the media and broadcast market, with the ability to adapt to the evolutions and changes of the market and technologies. The keys to our success are our diversified and highly specialized team as well as the technology we distribute and support. More information at www.cve-italy.com

March 19, 2024—Weiterstadt, Germany – LYNX Technik, provider of modular signal processing solutions, announces redesigning three of its yellobrik Ethernet to Fiber Transceivers (Switches). The new updates also include several feature enhancements.
They can be used in broadcast, professional AV, and video production environments where long-distance signal transmission requires minimal signal degradation. By using the LYNX Technik yellobrik Ethernet | Fiber transceivers and switches, facilities can take advantage of fiber optic cabling to extend the reach of 1Git/s electrical ethernet signals over a greater distance – some models extend up to 80 Km / 49.7 miles using SFPs. These converters enable the connection of copper-based ethernet equipment to single—and multi-mode fiber optic cable, all while offering a stable and high-speed signal connection between locations.
These yellobriks provide various connectivity solutions where cabling may be challenging or long-distance signal distribution is required. The OET 1514 and OET 1544 (CWDM) can also function as a three-port ethernet switch with one fiber and two electrical ethernet ports. The OBD 1514-E is a matched pair of bi-directional switches and can function as a four-port ethernet switch.
German-designed and built LYNX Technik products are known for their reliability and performance in demanding broadcast and professional AV applications. Yellobrik products are known for their compact size, making them suitable for space-constrained environments or portable setups. They are hot-swappable and hot-pluggable, user-friendly, and have all the instructions and indicators printed directly on the units themselves. Their ease of use facilitates easy setup and quick troubleshooting.
Via the LynxCentraal software application, additional monitoring features, including SNMP support and enhanced monitoring capabilities such as link speed, are available. In the case of port-down events, when a network port or network device renders non-operational, the software triggers alerts about system warnings, such as temperature monitoring.

April 22, 2022 – Weiterstadt, Germany – LYNX Technik, provider of modular signal processing interfaces for the Broadcast and Professional AV markets, announces the debut of LynxCentraal, its new centralized software tool for management of its entire hardware portfolio. It will be showcased at NAB2022 booth C4721.
Serving to unify the LYNX Technik suite of software solutions, LynxCentraal combines the functionality of its three software tools; APPolo, yelloGUI and greenGUI applications into a new solution. By consolidating the functions (as well as adding new features) of these software tools under a single software system, user management is instantly simplified. Previously, users would require three different software systems to operate their LYNX Technik installations. Now, a single software can be used alongside the LYNX Technik greenMachine, yellobrik and Series 5000 hardware.
Features of the software have been designed to offer enhanced operational efficiency and ease-of-use. It is now possible for users to control all aspects of operator permissions and accessible features. Users can create & build customized virtual software control interfaces (and templates) with easy to use drag-and-drop controls and elements. The customized control interfaces can be shared with multiple users and redundant file sharing makes storing and using data such as these custom control designs as well as operator settings convenient and seamless.
LynxCentraal allows users to configure and set system conditions for any parameter in a system, which if met, will trigger pre-programmed and automated actions. Plus, the workflow of a system can also be customized so that a user only sees what he/she needs to, eliminating complexities of the job.
Other new features include; an enhanced user-interface for navigating and editing device parameters; improved yellobrik discovery and editing of parameter settings; dark and light modes for the software interface; redesigned CustomControl tool; in-application help is now available for the first time.
LynxCentraal is the heart of a centralized control system which can easily be expanded to grow with your system. From a single rack to literally hundreds of racks located in different locations, the system can be easily used for controlling small or large Series 5000, greenMachine or yellobrik system installations.
As with all LYNX Technik software, LynxCentraal is complimentary to all customers and can be downloaded from the company website https://www.lynx-technik.com/downloads/lynxcentraal/
