3G-SDI to Fiber Transmitter (CWDM)
The OTX 1842 is a compact CWDM 3G-SDI to fiber transmitter designed to alleviate the restrictions involved with the distribution of uncompressed broadcast quality video signals over long distances.
When paired with a Fiber to 3G-SDI receiver (e.g. yellobrik ORX 1802), it forms a cost-effective optical transmission and reception system for 3G-SDI signals up to 1080p60. Eighteen wavelength options are available for full CWDM compatibility.
The OTX 1842 will auto-detect and re-clock any 3G/1.5G/SD-SDI source prior to optical transmission. The module is fully compatible with 3G-SDI Level A and Level B formats.
As with all yellobrik modules, it is compatible with the RFR 1200 rack frame, which provides power redundancy.
