12G-SDI Simplex Fiber Transmitter 40km with CDR
Description
The OH-TX-4-12G-LC fiber transmitter is available as an integrated (pre-assembled) or plug-in option for select Lynx Technik yellobrik and Series 5000 products. This SFP module facilitates the conversion of an electrical SDI signal into an optical signal for transmission over fiber. Wavelength is a fixed 1310nm and suitable for distances up to 40km**. The module accommodates 12G, 6G, 3G and 1.5G SDI signals conforming to SMPTE 2082, SMPTE 2081, SMPTE 424M, 292M, 259M, DVB-ASI.
A distance of 40km is achievable when using an OH-RX-12G-LC together with a fiber cable that has an attenuation of 0.3dB/km or better.
A build-in SFP socket (“cage”) is present on supported Lynx Technik products for easy installation or upgrades. SFPs are hot-swappable to provide maximum workflow flexibility.
