Description

The OH-BD-12G-1550-LC 12G-SDI bidirectional fiber transceiver is available as an integrated (pre-assembled) or plug-in option for select Lynx Technik yellobrik, greenMachine and Series 5000 products. This SFP module transmits and receives an optical SDI signal over a single fiber link. The TX wavelength is fixed at 1550nm and suitable for distances up to 10km**. The RX accepts wavelengths between 1300nm and 1320nm. The module supports 11.88Gbit, 5.94Gbit, 2.97Gbit, and 1.485Gbit SDI signals conforming to SMPTE 2082, SMPTE 2081, SMPTE 424M, and SMPTE 292M.

A build-in SFP socket (“cage”) is present on supported Lynx Technik products for easy installation or upgrades. SFPs are hot-swappable to provide maximum workflow flexibility. This SFP is typically used in simple WDM closed loop point to point applications and is intended to be paired with the OH-BD-12G-1310-LC SFP at the other end of the fiber link.
