The OBD 1910 is a simple, plug-and-play solution that can extend a 1GE or 10GbE signal up to 30km* over a single fiber link. The OBD 1910 uses WDM multiplexing to send and receive the signal over a single fiber link (Simplex) instead of the more traditional Duplex fiber links.
It is a straight forward pass-through and does not provide bitrate conversion from 1GbE to 10GbE.

The kit includes 2 modules with their power supplies. No advanced configuration is required; simply connect the Ethernet and Fiber to get started. The modules support 1GbE and 10GbE networks with a maximum throughput of 20Gbit/s.

To increase distances on multi-mode installations the OBD 1910 MM version converts the duplex multi-mode RX and TX into a simplex bi-directional single-mode fiber to achieve longer reach.

As with all yellobrik modules, it is compatible with the RFR 1200 rack frame, which provides power redundancy.
