The CDH 1411 is a versatile, compact 12G-SDI to HDMI converter designed for monitoring and displaying uncompressed video signals in broadcast, post-production, and professional AV environments. It easily converts any 12G-SDI video signal to an equivalent HDMI output, enabling accurate monitoring of Closed Captions, embedded audio levels, and more. Optional fiber connectivity adds SDI fiber transmission and/or reception capabilities via the integrated SFP socket, allowing signal transport over distances of up to 10 km (6.2 miles).

AES audio can be de-embedded from the 12G-SDI input to both digital and analog audio outputs, with full-range preset options. Any selected stereo pair of audio channels can be embedded into the HDMI output, or alternatively, up to 8 audio channels (from 8 groups within 64 channels) can be selected from the input and embedded into the HDMI signal.

A comprehensive set of on-screen burn-in features makes the CDH 1411 an exceptional monitoring tool. These include individually selectable Timecode Burn-in, Closed Caption Burn-in, 16-channel Audio Metering, Safe Area Markers, and Metadata Display, among others.

The module is fully compatible with yelloGUI and LynxCentraal. It can be configured, controlled and updated using Windows or MacOS. As with all yellobrik modules, it is compatible with the RFR 1200 rack frame, which provides power redundancy.
