Do you have experience dealing with FPGAs and the development of electronic assemblies? We are seeking an experienced Firmware Developer (m/f/d) to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of real-time AI-powered video processing on System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms.

Fields of activity:
- Design and implementation of FPGA algorithms
- Test and verification of developed FPGA modules
- Further development and maintenance of existing FPGA designs
- Design and development of electronic assemblies
- Commissioning and validation of hardware assemblies
Required Skills:
- Completed engineering degree in the field of electrical engineering, computer sciences, or similar
- Extensive knowledge of HDL (VHDL or Verilog)
- Basic / good knowledge of C/Cpp /Python
- Extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with FPGAs (Xilinx/Altera)
- Independent and result-oriented way of working
- Conversational level knowledge of German or English
- Work experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of digital image processing is desirable
- Knowledge of Pytorch is desirable
- Knowledge of AI/CNNs is desirable

- Working on a specific and measurable task in software development, ideally as part of your academic studies
- Close collaboration with colleagues from R&D in the fields of application software and embedded systems
- Supporting our software development efforts in the relevant topic areas
Your Profile:
- Enrolled student (m/f/d) in computer science, media technology, or comparable engineering programs
- Strong IT and programming skills
- Confidence in communicating in an international environment, including in English
- Organizational talent with a structured and precise working style
- Enthusiasm for independent work within a highly motivated team
- Diligence and a strong sense of responsibility
